Aln Valley Railway
Alnwick
The Aln Valley Railway is a relative junior in the heritage railway movement, having only opened in 2012. Constructed and run by volunteers, it aims to recreate the rail link between Alnwick and the East Coast mainline at Alnmouth.

The Station
Richmond
The Station began a new chapter following redevelopment under Richmondshire Building Preservation Trust in 2007. With its heart in the community; offering classes, clubs, groups, talks and tours, The Station is also home to a number of tenant businesses and is a popular gallery space for exhibiting artists.
The trains and track may be long gone, but The Station continues to serve local people and visitors to Richmond.
