The portable railway was built during lockdown in early 2021, it opened in April of the same year.

The first event was held at Wheelbirks Parlour in Stocksfield. The opening was met with a great reception with local press releasing publications in the following weeks.

Our little railway was the first of its kind in the North-East, a true pop-up miniature railway which operates on a commercial scale - last year we operated a staggering 90+ days!

We are one of the leading portable railways in the country, we're known for our friendly & personable team, and our fresh outlook on what a miniature railway should be.
