This little locomotive has been a part of the GLMR collection for a long time now. It was previously stored at the Beamish Cog Railway, and now resides on the Aln Valley Railway. Buddy is a favorite of many of our passengers, and can often be seen taking trains on quieter days.
his locomotive was used extensively in 2021 on the GLMR portable railway. Many of our passengers will be familiar with this well-loved locomotive. On busier days you might find yourself behind this little locomotive, it's a favorite of the vast majority of our drivers!
The most beautiful locomotive in our collection, this little steam locomotive is owned by our track-work lead technician Nick. It can be found running at our bigger events and special events, check FaceBook for details!
Owned by Phillip Kinghorn, this lovely little locomotive has recently undergone a very thorough bottom-end rebuild, complete with a new speed controller. It now resides on the Aln Valley Miniature Railway and you may see it double heading with one of our home fleet locomotives!
